Storfors in the centre of Bergslagskanalen

Storfors is characterized by forest covered hills and the familyfriendly water path Bergslagskanalen, an ideal recreational area for both residents and visitors.
The immediate surroundings offer the hiking tracks ”Through history and future”. The locks in Bjurbäcken are a very popular place to visit. Lundsberg with the famous boarding school, also has a nine-hole golf course. The railway track ”Inlandsbanan” runs through Storfors where also Värmland's fire historical museum is.
The art exhibition at the Galleri Galejan, an annual village market in Bjurtjärn, live music along the Bergslagskanalen, Jonny Nilsson maraton long distance skating and the annual Storfors market are some of our events.
